Raja Ampat Exotic Diving Packages
Raja Ampat Exotic Diving Packages, 7 Days – 6 Nights.
Wai Island, Mansuar Island, Gam Island, Waigeo Island and Mios Kon Island.
Day 01 : Sorong Arrival – Wai Island (D).
Upon arrive at Jefman Airport Sorong, meeting service then transfer to the port and then by boat you will directly transfer to Wai Island. Overnight at Camping Tend at Wai Island Beach. Dinner at tend.
Day 02 : Wai Island Dive – Mansuar island (BLD).
After breakfast at hotel/lodge, check out, then proceed starting to diving at Wai Island dive spot including 3 aircraft wreck. Lunch will be provided by on the boat dive. After dive at Wai Island, then proceed to Mansuar Island. Upon arrive at Mansuar Island, you will have time to dive at Manta Point. This is a cleaning station for the Mantas. Overnight at Camping Tend at Mansuar Beach. Dinner at tend.
After breakfast at tend, proceed to southern coast of Gam island. These spots is well known for it mangroves reefs, you can dive and snorkel in this mangroves reefs with crystal clear water. Visiting local traditional villages and spotting the bird of paradise is an option we do in the morning and afternoon activities. Lunch will be served on the boat. Afternoon back to Mansuar beach, Dinner at tend.
Day 04 : Mansuar island Dive – Mios Kon Island (BLD).
After breakfast at tend, proceed the northern strait of Mansuar island. These strait host some of the best of Raja Ampat best dive sites. DR. Jerry Allen (ichtyologist) broke his record in a single dive fish count on this strait. Lunch will be served on the boat. After that proceed to Mios Kon island. Overnight at Camping Tend at Mios Kon Beach. Dinner at tend.
Day 05 : Mios Kon Island Dive – Waigeo Island Dive (BLD).
After breakfast at tend, proceed the northern Gam bay island. Diving in the Passage, this is a 30 metres wide channel which is separating Gam and Waigeo Islands. Typical for its forrest reefs, these islands also have a nice scenic for excursion, including Nudybranch Rock and Batu Lima Rocks. Lunch will be served on boat. After that visit local traditional villages then back to Mios Kon Beach. Dinner at tend.
Day 06 : Mansuar island Dive – Sorong (BLD).
After breakfast at tend, today you will enjoy dive at Mios Kon reefs, this is a slope reef ranging from 2 - 25 meters surrounding the island. Filled with coral growth rocks, it becomes house for many different kinds of fish. Lunch will be served on boat. After dive, continue sail back to Sorong. Upon arrive at Sorong, transfer to the hotel, check in, Dinner at hotel, free program.
Day 07 : Sorong – Transfer out (B).
After breakfast at hotel, check out, then transfer to Jefman Airport Sorong to catch your flight to the next destination.
Best time to dive at Raja Ampat :
There is no best or worst time for Irian Jaya diving. Conditions remain largely the same throughout the year and at no time are there the numbers of divers present in this vast area that you would rather avoid. Occasionally the sea might pick up a little between the months of July and September but, like Keira Knightley's chest, these are only minor swells which should not cause you much inconvenience.
Mostly good time is weather in April/May and October/November, not too wet, not too windy.
