Komodo is one of the 17,508 islands that make up the Republic of Indonesia. The island has a surface area of 390 km² and over 2000 inhabitants. The inhabitants of the island are descendants of former convicts who were exiled to the island and who have mixed themselves with the Bugis from Sulawesi.

Komodo is part of the Lesser Sunda chain of islands and forms part of the Komodo National Park and consists of over 550 islands but it is dominated by the three main island of Flores, Sumba and Timor. Nestled between eastern Sumbawa and western Flores lie three tiny grass-covered islands Komodo, Padar and Rinca, which together form the Komodo National Park, a protected wildlife reservation. This is the home of the giants lizard known as the "Komodo Dragon". It was thought to be a myth until the turn of the century.

Komodo National Park has the lowest annual rainfall in all of Indonesia, with an abbreviated rainy season in the month of January. For most of the year Komodo is dry and hot, parched by arid winds from the Australian desert that blow from April through October. Maximum temperatures reach 43° C, with minimums of 17° C in August.

Komodo Island Tour Packages, 3 Days / 2 Nights (1).
Day 01. Arrival Bima – Sape – Komodo Island (LD).
Upon arrive at Sultan Salahuddin Airport Bima, meet and greet with our guide then transfer to Sape Harbor for sail to Komodo Island. Upon arrive at Sape you will sail through Sape Strait (the sail will be take about 6 - 7 hour boat ride to the island of Komodo Dragon). In the afternoon arrivel at Komodo Island then proceed to Loho Liang Bay (near The Komodo National Park Post Station) for anchor and rest. Overnight on the boat. Lunch and Dinner ont he boat.

Day 02 : Komodo Island – Sape – Bima (BLD).
After breakfast on boat, proceed to the post station for visitor registrations and meet the local ranger to escort then begin to explore Komodo Island on foot up to Banunggulung where you will observe the wild Giant Lizard (Varanus Komodoenses) along the trails into tropical forest. The exploration trip shall be escorted with the local ranger (Please avoid wearing on red color, and the ladies on the periods shall keep the distance to the reptiles). After that back to the boat then sail back to Sape. Upon arrive at Sape transfer to Bima, check in hotel. Lunch on the boat, Dinner at the local restaurant. Free program.

Day 03 : Bima – Transfer Out (B).
After breakfast at hotel, check out, then transfer to Sultan Salahuddin Airport Bima to catch your flight to the next destination.

Day 01 : Labuan Bajo – Komodo Island (LD).
Upon arrive at Komodo Airport Labuan Bajo, meet and greet with our guide then transfer to the harbor of Labuan Bajo for sail to Komodo Island. The sail will be take about approximately 4 - 5 hour boat ride to the island. Upon arrivel at Komodo Island overnight on boat. Lunch and Dinner will be serve on the boat.

Day 02 : Komodo Island – Pink Beach – Labuan Bajo (BLD).
