Jombang is one of regency in East Java province, located in the center of the province of East Java. Jombang city center is located in the middle area of the regency, has a height of 44 meters above sea level, and is 79 km (about 1.5 hours drive) from the southwestern city of Surabaya, the capital of East Java Province. Jombang has a very strategic position, because it is located at the intersection of the south traffic lane of Java Island (Surabaya, Madiun, Jogjakarta), Surabaya-Tulungagung point, and point Malang-Tuban.

Jombang also known as the "city of students", because of the many schools of Islamic education (boarding school) in its territory. There's even a proverb which says Jombang is a boarding school in Central Java, since nearly all the land of the founder of the Pesantren (Islamic Schools) in Java Island must have studied in Jombang.

Jombang also has tourism potency with various tourism object. This is very important and profitable, because of the locations of Jombang is near to nature tourism as mentions above.

The Situation of climate especially the rainfall in Jombang regency that laying on 500 meters height from sea level has low rainfall that has range about 1750 - 2500 mm per year. While for the area in more than 500 meters height from the sea surface, the average of its rainfall reach 2500 mm per year.

Sumber Boto.
The natural glamour is very beautiful, green and cool, with luxury mountain background and fresh air. There are parks with natural design around it, here is also equipped with children playground, wide swimming pool and limpid, because the water flow directly from the mountain which transparent. Sumber Boto is located about 7 km of town direction Mojoagung district to the south.

Kedung Cinet.
Kedung Cinet is very dynamic, its nature fascinating interest everyone to see it. It is between the greenness forests, flow away in a river and the transparent scraping stones that seem to be whiteness, and make the natural beauty. Kedung Cinet, is a profile of forest tourism that awaking beauty in Jombang area.
Kedung Cinet is located about 10 kilometers from Brantas Ploso Bridge, precisely in Pojok Klitih village in the middle of wilderness, commonly visited by a lot of peoples both, from around and domestic tourist. The natural beauty of Kedung Cinet seems so exciting; stones gap in river stream, stalactite and stalagmite that hang on and the beautiful, green, soft, transparent and cool natural forest panorama.

Tretes Waterfall.
Tretes Waterfall which located in Pengajaran sub-village, Gelangdowo village, Wonosalam district, Jombang. The interesting thing from this Tretes waterfall is the natural existence. Arimbi Temple.
This temple is still looks sturdy and full of historical value. Physically, Arimbi Temple is not too big. Nevertheless, from the history side, this temple is also one of interesting temple in Java. It said that Arimbi is 'petilasan' (rest room) of the Majapahit soldier.
Arimbi temple is located in Ngrimbi village, Wonosalam district, Jombang. Arimbi temple precisely located between Wonosalam and Bareng district. The location is strategic because it stay at the main road towards Wonosalam.

The Old Church.
Mojowarno’s Eastern Javanese Christian Church, a history witnesses whom stands still through times changes. As if almighty God whom stays inside, to be a King and a Father. While, to celebrate a century of this church there were next renovated which start from July 23, 1979 to December 23, 1979. This Church has Byzantine and Gothic style of architecture, like the early 12 Century Churches. It has shown the blandness of western and our cultural way of style.

Sayid Sulaiman Graveyard.
Friday 'Legi' (one of Javanese's days) Night, the easier expression to remember an ritual activity of pilgrimage to Sayyid Sulaiman grave, which attended by thousands of people who coming from various place, Java or even from outside of Java. It is beginning when Sayyid take hold as Wodli in Kanigoro, Pasuruan. When he had pilgrimage to Waliullah Raden Alif grave in Mancilan, Mojoagung, he was sick and finally he passed away in that place.
This grave located in Mancilan, Mojoagung district, Sayyid Sulaiman was always respecting the religious activity. In all broadcast religion opportunity, he always used Rasulullah SAW style. Sayyid was also fond to had pilgrimage in all of Moslem member’s graveyards. He passed away in 17 RobiuI AwaI (one of Java's months) 1193 H or 24 Marchs 1780 M. His mother was a Cirebon King's daughter.

Hong San Kiong Temple.
Temple or in Indonesia call it Klenteng "Hong San Kiong" is located in Gudo village, Jombang. Besides known as religious place of Tri Dharma (Tios, Budha, and Konghucu), this temple is also functioned as medical place. The interesting point is the visitors who want to get drug are not only from the member itself, but also come from other religion members include the 'Moslems'. Beside that, the interaction with people around is well done.
